I’m a Beast Thursday @ Seville
Devin the Dude has a song called 'What a Job', where he, Snoop, and Andre 3000 lace listeners about what it is to be an artist. For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Dude, he's a independent artist who stays on the fray of being major. Now this blog is not about that, but all the independent artist who are out there hustling for your art---big ups to ya, cuzz that's what went down this past Thursday!!!
The night was hot, I don't give a damn!!! Big ups to all the artist who came out and did the damn thang--V-12, Bar None, Dani Cleveland (with Big Wade and Drew) of the Last Few, Devel Crisp, and the new homie P to the B, and of course the big dog of the night--Scottie Pimpin'!!!
You all did the damn thang and gave Omaha something that was greatly needed, we showed that we can party on the northside, and give hottness to our people from our heart and soul!!
I know that it get hard out here, trust ya boy digs that deeper than caskets, but we must continue to grind, hustle, write, hit the studio, do shows, sell cd's out the trunk, and get our bizness right!!!
For the supporters and the crowd--GIVE THANKS!!! Without your support, we can't do this, we do it for the people; so the people's soul, will rise above all this negativity and bullshit!!
I give thanks to all the artist, Club Seville, brotha Odie, whose words lifted my spirit enough so my soul could do it's job, DJ Scottie Pimpin for grindin' out the show, and all the people who reposted flyers, and was in the grind and on the ground with us.....Give Thanks, One Luv and that B it....
